What we collect
When you submit a Request for Quotation (RFQ) through this website, we collect the information you provide: your name, company name, email address, phone number, country, and the technical details of your enquiry (component, part number, turbine model, quantity, urgency and any notes).
We do not use advertising trackers on this website, and we do not sell personal data to third parties.
Why we process it (legal basis)
RFQ submissions are processed for the performance of pre-contractual steps at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR): quoting, sourcing and supplying components you ask about.
Basic technical logs may be processed on the basis of our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) to keep the website secure and operational.
How long we keep it
RFQ records are retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards to maintain a commercial history, typically no longer than 24 months unless a contract follows, in which case retention follows our contract and statutory accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
Your enquiry details are shared only internally within the Amar group companies where needed to quote or fulfil your request, and with service providers acting on our instruction (for example email delivery). Where data is transferred outside the EEA, appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses apply.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
